Vamp Child
CHAPTER 1
Running away
A place, swarming with people, hiding in the mists of the crowd. Hana
was dashing quickly through the people, weaving her way through the
tidy buisnessmen on their way through
The early morning rush. In her new pink dress He gave her, she seemed
to stick out like a sore thumb. She had to crouch down lower to
make sure she could vanish into the black and white swarm. She tried
to walk faster. Run? No she couldn't do that. Hana found it hard not
to look back, her head was in the action of looking back, but she
knew that if her eyes were to meet with, Him, he could easily spot
her. Hana was getting tired, she had'nt eaten when she ran away from
there. She felt a jolt of pain in her left side, she knew should of
taken some food with her in her backpack, but at that time, she
didnt want to be too obvious. People's backs were becoming blurier.
She felt the ground pulling her down. Hana just needed to get on the
last train, she didn't care where it took her, as long as it was as
far from Him as possible. The murmurs of the crowd, were dying,
slipping away from her ears. She was getting so tired of running.
Looking down at the floor, trying to hold back tears, she saw some
shards of glass. They were trailing in a strait line. Looking down,
she saw a person she didnt recognize. She saw a girl, running away,
with brown hair and brown eyes. With a whitish pink dress that didnt
look right on a person like her. She last saw herself in a ragid old
shirt, and some old baggy pants. Why she asked herself, was she
running away? She looked up again, trying to make the last stretch.
She felt herself running now, because of her excitement. But at that
moment, she felt somthing grab her ankle. What she feared was
actually happening. She saw Him, grabbing with his bruised up hand.
She kicked at him, trying to beak loose of his grip. Turning her
foot loose. Hana kicked her shoe off in a furious fight. Now he was
grabbing her sock, when she kicked that off too. Just five feet
more. She was running as hard as she could. A shard of glass jabbed
her at the heel. She was bleeding, it hurt so much! She tried to go
a little farther, but her conconce started to fade. Hana had to
push herself just a little further. She knew, now, she couldn't win.
She fell down, and faded away.
CHAPTER 2
Hana was back at the Kitsuke House. The same place she was trying
to run away from. Not that the house itself was bad, it was the man
who ran the house. The house was like everyone else in the home. No,
it wasn't a home. A home is where there is family and friends. Hana
had no family and no friends.. It was an extremly huge mansion, with
five floors, a basment, and an attic. It seemed so beutiful from the
outside, it even was beautiful in the inside. Having almost about
10 rooms on each floor, including some rooms that haven't yet been
discovered. A very beautiful palace like house located near a tree
covered area. Though, something didn't make sense, the house itself
was so beautiful, but, the yard and lawn seemed to be extremly over
grown. No traces of a person or people living there. Yet, there was
always a sense of people there. Hana was back in her room. The ninth
door on the second floor. One of the 15 children on that floor, and
one out of the thirty six people people in the house. Hana was still
in her pink dress, the blinds closed with no sign of light. Never
daring to open it. She got out of her bead slowly to make sure that
no one could here her. She looked over to the mirror, there she saw
somthing shocking. A hand written letter addressed to her.
Dear Hana,
I think you forgot to say goodbye, it seemed you were in a hurry.
Luckily, I got you before anything bad could happen.
The letter was written in a sarcastic manner. It was written also in
a very vague tone, makinng it seem he wanted to mess with her.
